Dr. Sophie Blue Hollenberg and Samuel Mason White exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the home of the bride's grandmother. Dr. Paul Drake officiated.

Jan and Thomas Tannen Hollenberg of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Joan and the late James Adams and Constance and the late Henry Hollenberg.

The groom is the son of Amanda Nixon White and Alfred Popkess White III, both of Little Rock. His grandparents are Bobbye and the late Lin Nixon of Little Rock and Ann and the late Alfred White Jr. of Hot Springs.

The outdoor ceremony was decorated with lush arrangements of white hydrangeas, Playa Blanca roses, white tulips and stock. Nuptial music was by Panache Duo.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk-taffeta gown. The pleated bodice had thin shoulder straps and a deep V-neckline and her skirt extended to a cathedral-length train. Her chapel-length cascade veil was embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals. She carried a white bouquet of hydrangeas, tulips, roses and ranunculus.

The bride's sisters Hannah Hollenberg of Little Rock and Eliza Hollenberg of Fayetteville served as maids of honor.

Bridesmaids were Alison Bracy of Dallas, Laura Harrod of Jonesboro, Haley Ligon of Stuttgart and Laura Gowan, Lauren Story Hefta, Anna Simpson, Amy White and Shannon Zehtaban, all of Little Rock. They wore Denmark blue chiffon gowns and carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet

Best man was Alfred "Kes" White IV, of Little Rock, brother of groom. Groomsmen were Joseph Damron of Salt Lake City, Wally Davis of Dallas, Max Miller of Rogers, Russell Goss and Mark Murphy, both of Fayetteville, and Joe Doramus, Michael Drake, Michael Holliman, John Makris, Matt Sealy and Jahon Zehtaban, all of Little Rock.

Guests were seated by Bronson Bailey of Fordyce, Phillip Kosmitis of Atlanta, Brandon Wright of Dallas and Garrett Phelps, Korosh Saba and Thomas Schmidt, all of Little Rock.

A reception at the home followed the ceremony. Round guest tables covered with white cloths held arrangements of roses and hydrangeas. Music was by Jukeboxx of Fayetteville.

The bride graduated magna cum laud with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She graduated with honors with a medical degree in research from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is an orthopaedic surgery resident physician at UAMS.

The groom graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in accountancy. He is a sales manager for Innovative Technology Solutions.

After a honeymoon in Seaside, Fla., the couple will live in Little Rock.
