Walmart Inc. has debuted an interactive website that provides information on prescription drug safety and mental health resources, the company said Monday.

The Bentonville-based retailer’s online portal, called Safe & Well, uses videos and self-guided activities covering understanding and safe use of prescription opioids and stimulants; recognizing opioid abuse and responding to an overdose; and implementing strategies for managing mental health challenges.

The mobile-friendly Safe & Well website may be accessed at https://walmart.everfi-next.net/.

“We are seeing people struggle with unprecedented levels of personal stress and restricted access to support networks in communities across the country as a result of the pandemic, which can ultimately compromise health and many other important aspects of people’s lives,” Walmart Chief Medical Officer Dr. Thomas Van Gilder said in a news release.
