CHARLESTON -- Glen Rose (10-2) came up with a late defensive stop to eliminate Charleston (9-3).
Glen Rose will now advance to take on Centerpoint.
Charleston got within 21-14 and had a chance to get closer after intercepting a Glen Rose pass, but the Beavers held defensively, then ran out to the clock.
The Beavers scored on a 12-yard pass from Wesley Launius to Jace Cheatham before the Tigers answered with a 68-yard interception return by Nathan Zimmer to tie the score at 7-7 to end the first quarter.
Conner Taylor returned a punt 54 yards for a touchdown giving Glen Rose a 14-7 halftime lead. Launius went up the middle for a 2-yard touchdown run to give the Beavers a 21-7 lead.
Charleston's Breckon Ketter matched that with a 2-yard touchdown run to get the Tigers to within 21-14.
