'Covid Cabaret'
The Weekend Theater is hosting a "Covid Cabaret," 7:30 p.m. Friday, online via Facebook Live.
Chicago-based choreographer/actor/dancer Jordan Burns will be the special guest; a lineup of local performers includes Karen Q. and Jay Clark, Angela Morgan, Saxon Whitehead, Sarah Scott, Blakey Laxson, Hannah Hill, David Weatherly, Zachary Hickman, Patti Airoldi and Gabe Washam-Beck, Walter Dodd and Michael Pere; Jay Clark will be the emcee.

No 'Nutcracker'
The South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra has canceled its two Saturday performances of Peter Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" after the orchestra reviewed a report from the Arkansas Risk Assessment Team on the high number of covid-19 cases in the state.
