Disturbance leads to suspect's arrest
Jacksonville police arrested a man in a domestic disturbance Wednesday night at an apartment after which he assaulted an officer, according to an arrest report.
Officers responded to Cross Keys' Apartments on 304 S. J.P. Wright Loop Road at 8 p.m. where they arrested John Kohlman, 38, in the assault of a tenant, the report said.
The landlord told Kohlman to leave the apartment, and he responded by threatening the landlord, according to the report.
After the arrest and on the way to the jail, Kohlman spat on the officer multiple times and told her he would kill her, the report said.
He was taken to the Pulaski County jail and is charged with felony aggravated assault on a household member, two felony counts of terroristic threatening, felony aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and misdemeanor interference with emergency communications.
NLR woman jailed on drug charges
A North Little Rock woman was arrested in Maumelle after delivering drugs to an address using a driving service Thursday night, according to an arrest report.
Investigators received information that Alysia Edmondson, 33, was delivering methamphetamine to 12 Ozark Drive, where she was found at 5:50 p.m. with 12.1 grams of methamphetamine, 4.5 grams marijuana and glass pipe residue, the report said.
She was arrested and taken to the Pulaski County jail, where she is charged with felony delivery of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
