BENTON COUNTY

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., holds Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday School for all ages and adult Bible classes are at 9:45 a.m. You can also see the service on the website.

Thanksgiving service will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 26.

The Lutheran Hour is broadcast every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on radio stations KURM-AM (790) and KURM-FM (100.3).

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is normally open on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon. It will not be open Nov. 27.

First Baptist Church in Rogers, 3364 W. Pleasant Grove Road, will deliver pre-cooked, individually packaged Thanksgiving meals between 9 a.m. and noon Nov. 26 within the Rogers city limits. To sign up, call 636-3451 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday until Nov. 25 or capacity has been reached.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., hosts services online Sundays at 10:15 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube.

The FPC Food Pantry is operating as a drive-through Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Bring something that shows you are a resident of Benton County.

Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, holds services Sundays at 10 a.m. Covid-19 precautions are followed.

For those unable to attend, the service is available live on the church Facebook page, and the weekly bulletin on the website.

Bible study at 8:30 a.m. precedes services and is online at Google Meet. Wednesday night Bible study is at 7 p.m. at the church and on Google Meet.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will continue to hold services on its website or on YouTube. A decision to reopen the church will be considered this week.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., has returned to in-person services at 10 a.m. Sunday. Seating is limited to maintain safe physical distancing, so let us know you’re coming to services by calling the office.

Watch the service live on the website or Facebook page. A recording will also be posted on Sunday afternoon. In-person Sunday school classes and other church activities will resume at a later date.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, are offering Zoom services on alternate Sundays. Zoom in at 11 a.m. Nov. 22 for UUBC’s service “Gratitude at Thanksgiving and Beyond” led by UUBC member, Suzanne Miltich. For the Zoom link, visit UUBC’s website.

Unity Church of the Ozarks, 2200 S.E. J St., Bentonville, presents “Thanksgiving” by the Rev. Elise Cowan at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on Facebook. Larry Owensby presents Daily Word and a meditation at 7 p.m. on Facebook.

The “Bundle up for Warmth” drive takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4-5. Members are collecting gloves, hand warmers, scarves, hats and socks. Drop donations off at the church.

A Little Free Pantry is at the front door of the church. Help yourself when needed and help others by donating.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., presents live service at 10:15 a.m. Sundays. Seating arrangements have been readjusted for social distancing. The service is live streamed on Facebook; vimeo.com/user42482704; on the website; and audio of the live service can be heard on 90.3 FM in the south church parking lot.

The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon for drive-through pickup.

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Cross Church in Springdale, 1709 Johnson Road, will conduct a drive-through distribution of Blessing Baskets at 2 p.m. Sunday. The distribution will be contact free. Identification is required; one Blessing Basket per address.

First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, hosts Sunday morning services, both in-person and livestreamed, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Online services are available on YouTube and through the church’s website.

The church has joined with Ferncliff Camp to bring Advent-in-a-Box to members and friends. The boxes focus on the holiday season of Advent and are designed to help participants celebrate Advent in this time of social distancing. There are boxes for families and for older adults. Call the church office to learn times to pick up a box.

“Hanging of the Greens” will begin at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 16. Volunteers will decorate the Sanctuary and the Narthex for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Poinsettias may be ordered in November to help decorate the sanctuary and, at the same time, honor a loved one.
