A Huntsville school bus driver was arrested Wednesday in connection with driving while drunk.
The Arkansas State Police arrested Rock Allen Hatfield, 62, in connection with DWI and endangering the welfare of a minor.
A Madison County Sheriff's deputy pulled the bus over before 4 p.m. near the Withrow Springs area north of Huntsville. There were 30 students on the bus.
The deputy relinquished the investigation to an Arkansas police trooper who had been monitoring the initial report on the radio with the sheriff’s department.
Hatfield was taken to the Madison County Jail.
