FAYETTEVILLE -- A Rogers man was sentenced to more than five years in federal prison Tuesday for child pornography.

Martin Rosales-Rodriguez, 20, was sentenced to 70 months to be followed by 10 years of supervised release on one count of receipt of child pornography.

Members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in March 2018 identified a computer address using a file sharing network to obtain suspected child pornography files. The IP address was traced to Rosales-Rodriguez's home in Rogers.

A federal search warrant was executed April 16, 2019, at Rosales-Rodriguez's residence. Law enforcement found images of child pornography on electronic devices confiscated at the home.

Rosales-Rodriguez was indicted in June and entered a guilty plea in October.

U.S. District Judge Timothy L. Brooks presided over the sentencing. Assistant U.S. Attorney Amy Driver prosecuted the case.
