Mercy hospitals earn safety recognition
The Leapfrog Group recently awarded an A grade for safety to Mercy Fort Smith and Mercy Northwest Arkansas in its spring 2020 Hospital Safety Grades, which score hospitals on how they protect their patients from errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in February gave Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers a four-star rating and a five-star rating, respectively.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. It is updated every six months. For more information, visit www.hospitalsafetygrade.org.
Farm joins Angus association
Rafter JR Farms of Lincoln recently joined the American Angus Association, a national breed organization headquartered in Saint Joseph, Mo.
The association includes more than 25,000 active adult and junior members. Its computerized records include detailed information on more than 19 million registered Angus.
The programs and services of the Association and its entities help members advance the beef cattle business by selecting the best animals for their herds.
