WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS In 10 years I see myself graduated with a bachelors in Biology/

sports medicine, at least four natty championships, and hopefully opening up my own physical therapy practice in the south. Maybe with the man of my dreams starting our family, maybe not.

IN YOUR WORDS, HOW HAS COVID-19 AFFECTED YOU Covid-19 really has taught me a lesson. Mainly, what are the most important things in life and how boring life is without sports. Yes, I was very upset that my basketball team and I did not get to participate in the final state championship game, and yes I am very upset that softball season is postponed. My heart goes out to the collegiate seniors whose season was put brought to an end. Aside from all the emotions, I’ve learned that spending time with your family is important and can be pushed aside when we are all so busy with our everyday lives.

WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST FROM THIS SEASON I will miss playing my last softball season with my teammates who I have known for quite some time. Reflecting on videos from the past is all that I have now and it just doesn’t do justice. I wish I would’ve known that 2019’s state final softball game was the last. I love my teammates wholeheartedly and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them and myself.

In Their Words focuses on Northwest Arkansas senior athletes who participate in spring sports, which have been affected by the covid-19 outbreak. This feature will allow these seniors to say, in their own words, how the pandemic has affected them in their final year of high school sports.
