Church notes: Cancellations and ongoing events at area churches

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, 224 N. East Ave., invites parishioners and others in need to connect online:

Sunday Mornings: Join in online at www.youtube.com/c/stpaulsfay. Worship is livestreamed at 8:45 a.m. on the church YouTube channel. Tune in live or watch any time after. Adult Formation is livestreamed on YouTube at 10 a.m.

Mondays and Wednesdays: Community meals are being served pick-up only between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. outside the Welcome Center. Needle and condom distribution is also available. To volunteer, email [email protected]. Shelf-stable food items, hygiene items and household products can be dropped off at the Little Free Pantry (outside the Welcome Center, next to parking lot) 24 hours a day.

Benton County

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., will suspend Sunday worship services, church activities and events in the church building through March 30. The office staff and pastors will be working through the week and may be contacted at 855-1126 Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., plans only one service at 9:30 a.m. on Palm Sunday, April 5. Four confirmands will profess their faith during that service.

On April 7 there will be a special worship service for those that cannot attend a regular worship service. If you know of someone needing transportation to this, or any other service, please call the church office.

The JOY Shoebox ministry group needs donated shoeboxes to fill with necessary toiletry items. They could also use Reader's Digest and Guideposts to add to the boxes.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. Along with food items they also collect the "Best Choice" PVC labels which they can redeem for items needed in the pantry.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will host no services until further notice. Small groups will not be meeting either.

Millwood Christian Church in Rogers, 3450 W. Pleasant Grove Road, will distribute health care and hygiene items at the Pea Ridge High School at 9:30 a.m. today. The church's Essentials Outreach ministry provides these items free to those in need.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., has canceled worship services and all church activities through April 8.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, has canceled Sunday services until further notice.

United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, has suspended services and activities until March 30. Please know that we as a church are praying for everyone during this time. If you would like to pray with us, set an alarm or reminder for noon every day. We will be actively praying together -- even when separated -- because we are in this together. We are stronger because of our community, our love of Jesus, and because of Jesus' incredible love for us. Take care!

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., will suspend all church activity on the premises for the next three weeks in order to do our part in preventing the spread of the coronavirus. This means that Village Bible Church will not be gathering for worship services or any other meetings or activities for the next three weeks. The situation is fluid, so we may adjust the timetable as more information becomes known, but our current plan is to resume normal activities on Sunday, April 4.
