Arkansas 312 span to close 2 months

Replacing a bridge on a section of Arkansas 312 in Mississippi County will require closing the bridge beginning Monday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.

Crews will close Arkansas 312 between Arkansas 18 and U.S. 61 just south of Blytheville for two months, weather permitting. Ttraffic will be allowed to use that section of the highway except where the bridge is being replaced, the department said.

An average of 1,400 vehicles use the highway daily, according to department data.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels, barricades and signs.
