BENTONVILLE -- The sixth annual Bentonville Film Festival is set to take place in August as a "hybrid event," according to an announcement Thursday.

"This year's festival will offer virtual presentations and world premieres of films, panels and special events, alongside select drive-in screenings and additional on-the-ground events throughout the greater Bentonville, Arkansas area," an announcement on the festival's website said.

The festival is scheduled for August 10-16.

The first three days will offer the screening of feature films at a drive-in theater in Northwest Arkansas. Then participants will watch films from home August 12-16, according to the site.

Ticket sales will begin July 20.

Details concerning film selections, events, panelists and more will be released in the coming months, according to the site.
