Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts Community Life Groups' next semester beginning Jan. 26. If you are interested in learning more or joining one of these life-changing groups, please call the church office and sign up to be contacted by CLG directors.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., will sponsor a "Winter Fun Day" from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Feb. 1 for children ages 3 and older. They will listen to stories, play games, make crafts and enjoy a nice lunch. Please register at bvlutheran.com.

On Feb. 4, there will be a special worship service at 11 a.m. for those that are unable to attend a regular worship service. Following the service, lunch will be served. If you need transportation, please call the church office at 855-0272.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. They are in need of peanut butter and jelly. They also collect the PVC labels from Best Choice that they can redeem to purchase items needed. A container for your donation is in the church narthex.

Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, marks Martin Jackson's ordination with a potluck dinner following morning service on Feb. 2.

The Women's Second Saturday Brunch and Bible Study is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 8.

Millwood Christian Church in Rogers, 3450 W. Pleasant Grove Road, will host a Bingo Night fundraiser Jan. 28. Early Bird Gaming begins at 6:30 p.m. with Main Pack gaming starting at 7 p.m. Concessions will be available on site. Funds from Millwood bingo help provide health and hygiene items for those in need in the Northwest Arkansas area.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., will host local Christian and country western performer Cliff Shelder at 2 p.m. Feb. 8 in Fellowship Hall. Dessert, coffee, and hot chocolate will follow the concert. Church members should sign up in connector hallway. Others should call the church for reservations. A free-will offering will be taken.

A workshop on fall prevention will take place at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 in Fellowship Hall. The presenter will be René Oliver, R.N. To learn more about this and other educational programs, call the Schmieding Center on Aging at 751-3043. There is no cost to participate. Reservations are not required.

United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, hosts a concert featuring the Watoto Children's Choir at 7 p.m. Feb. 18. Admission is free.

Unity Church of the Ozarks, 2200 S.E. J St., Bentonville, hosts a Visioning Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon today to consider where Unity Church has been as a church community and where members want to go from here.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., opens the Oasis Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 29. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers.

At 6:30 p.m. there will be singing, devotions and prayer in the Worship Center. Infant and toddler nursery for kids is offered as well, and the community is always warmly welcomed.

Other

St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, 1 St. Bernard Lane, and its Knights of Columbus Council 9514 are sponsoring a bus trip to see the show "Noah" March 26 at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson. The bus will start loading at noon in the parking area of the vacant theater in front of Allen's in Bella Vista and will leave promptly at 12:30 p.m. for a 3:30 p.m. show.

The cost will be $79 per person and will include bus transportation and reserved seating at the show. The Knights of Columbus, which contributes to many local charities, will use this as a fundraiser.

To make reservations, call Dean Mechels at 876-8884 or 685-9514. Checks should be made out to "Knights of Columbus" and sent to Dean Mechels, 8 Canopy Lane, Bella Vista 72714. Payment must be received by Feb. 20.

A minimum commitment of 30 people is necessary. The trip is open to anyone who is interested.

The Christian Women's Connection will meet at 9 a.m. Feb. 11 at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. The public is invited. The feature will be Megan Smith with Horses for Healing. Laurie Grosse will be the guest speaker. Her presentation is titled "Home on the Range."

This brunch is held the second Tuesday of each month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10. The program is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.
