New Year's Eve party aims to rescue animals

Partygoers put on their 1920s-style glad rags to ring in the new year on Dec. 31 and raise funds to rescue homeless animals at Pawhibition: A Roaring 20s New Year's Eve. The event was held at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub in North Little Rock.

During the festivities, guests could bid on silent auction items, enjoy eats and drinks, have their photo made and dance to music by DJ Nick Hud.

Money raised benefits Arkansans Assisting Homeless Animals, a nonprofit animal rescue group based in Central Arkansas, which also provides foster care and assists in placing animals in loving homes.
