Clarksville 49, Morrilton 47

The Panthers got a late stop to hold on for the win in a game that was stopped after one quarter on Friday, Jan. 10, because of severe weather and knocked the Devil Dogs into a first-place tie in the 4A-4 Conference.

Cameron Patterson led the way with 12 points, six rebounds and four steals for Clarksville (6-11, 2-3), which led 37-34 after three quarters but trailed 22-21 at halftime. Owen Ashlock added 11 points and eight rebounds and Braden Payne chipped in eight points, five assists and six rebounds for the Panthers.

Clarksville led 13-12 after a quarter on Friday, but the game was stopped because of severe weather and the decision was made to postpone. Morrilton drops to 12-6 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
