FAYETTEVILLE -- Looking for kiddie porn online has landed a man in prison.

Chad Skirvin, 38, was sentenced Monday to six years in federal prison followed by fifteen years of supervised release on one count of accessing the Internet with intent to view child pornography.

Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce searched Skirvin's residence and found multiple computer devices, according to court records. A forensic search of the devices revealed numerous images of child pornography.

Skirvin, of Springdale, was indicted in May and entered a guilty plea in September.

U.S. District Judge Timothy L. Brooks presided over the sentencing hearing.
