Spark initiative aims to nurture startups

The Venture Center and the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce are seeking startups ready to ignite economic development in Central Arkansas.

The organizations are accepting applications for Spark, a pre-accelerator program that will deliver mentorship, publicity and subject-matter expertise to small businesses over a virtual platform.

Information on program qualifications and applications are available at www.venturecenter.co/spark

The 2020 Spark program will accept up to 10 startups to participate in the 10-week virtual boot camp. Participants will gain critical business skills in areas including business pitches, media, legal and funding.

"We co-created this program to give small businesses a targeted opportunity to receive real-time assessments, mentoring and strategies to boost their traction and growth," said Jay Chesshir, president and chief executive officer of the Little Rock Regional Chamber.
