Outlets of Little Rock and the Arkansas Foodbank will hold a drive-up food distribution event at the outlet mall April 28.
The event will last from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and take place in the parking lot near Old Navy. The outlet mall is at 11201 Bass Pro Parkway.
Organizers will distribute food on a first-come, first-served basis, the outlet mall said in a news release. Each family will get a box of dry goods, a box of produce and a box of frozen food, enough items for 40 meals, the organizers said.
All Arkansas Foodbank organizers will follow public health guidelines in an effort to stem the spread of covid-19, which will include wearing gloves and masks and practicing social distancing.
Those seeking donations must remain in their vehicles, with a maximum of two families per vehicle. No walk-ups will be allowed.
