Nonprofit to host "Downton Tabby" fundraiser

A nonprofit that works to support the region's pets and shelter animals will hold a fundraising dinner and silent auction in Fayetteville next month.

The Animal League of Washington County will host the event, dubbed "Downton Tabby," Oct. 10 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Stone Chapel at Matt Lane Farm, according to the organization's website.

The event will also include an open bar and live music.

Tickets are available for $75 at the organization's website.

Founded in 2011, The Animal League of Washington County provides medical care for animals and advocates for animal adoption and foster care in addition to operating a food bank, according to the site.
