Where I live: in Hillcrest in Little Rock with my boyfriend, Charlie Dunn, a photographer and adventurer.
Occupation: I am a hostess at 42 Bar and Table at the Clinton Presidential Center and owner of Louviere Pet Care, an in-house pet sitting and house-sitting service. I offer dog-walking, pickup and drop off services, mid-day visits, overnight stays and will even administer your pet's medications. I'm all-inclusive of dogs, cats, fish and lizards, but no children.
My favorite space is: my front porch
Why? My porch is my safe zone.
We live in one of those huge Hillcrest houses that has been divided into apartments with a large, covered porch perfect for get-togethers and just lounging around. We're very close with our neighbors and our porch is a place to practice inclusivity, family values, love and share good times. My godfather, Aaron Crowder lives downstairs from us.
We often host family dinners on our porch, as well as birthdays celebrations, Sunday Fundays and gather with out-of-town musicians and friends.
If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: love to re-decorate with inclusive signs, hang some string lights and have a dedicated pet area with toys, beds, water bowls and lots of love for our visiting and resident furry best friends.
