Northwest Arkansas can whisk away on an island getaway at the fresh-from-Broadway musical “Escape to Margaritaville,” showing at the Walton Arts Center through Sunday, Oct. 27. The jukebox musical brings together any Parrothead’s favorite Jimmy Buffett tunes, plus some new songs written for the show, as audiences follow a woman from Cincinnati to a bar in the Caribbean where she falls for a singer.
Actors Rachel Lyn Fobbs (Marley) and Patrick Cogen (J.D.) stopped by the NWADG office to chat with What’s Up! associate editor Jocelyn Murphy about the new touring production.
Jocelyn’s interview with Mike Utley, the show’s orchestrator and Arkansas native, ran in the What’s Up! section on Sunday, Oct. 20 and you can read it here.
