The War Eagle fair started in 1954 as a way for crafters in the Ozarks to show off their work. The fair continues to this day, but on a much grander scale. The War Eagle fair takes place near the War Eagle River, but there are shows all over the Northwest Arkansas area. The fairs closes this afternoon.
