Carroll County

Heart of Many Ways in Eureka Springs, 68 Mountain St., hosts a free community concert to showcase three musicians new to the area. Joshua Irwin, singer-songwriter, Tim Hillwood, instrumental guitar, and Rebecca Hazlitt,, guitar, vocals and harp, will be featured at 2 p.m. Oct. 27.

Washington County

Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, 1910 N. Old Wire Road, hosts the church youths' 14th annual Pumpkin Patch this year to raise money for mission work.

In conjunction with the Pumpkin Patch, the church also hosts two more free community events -- a free painting class at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 making wooden signs for fall and a Trunk-or-Treat Fall Fest from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27.

Pumpkin Patch hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon-7 p.m. Sunday through Oct. 31.

Benton County

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts the "It's Fall Y'all!" family fun festival from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in McKay Hall. Enjoy games, raffle door prizes, candy, food and drinks for the whole family.

Join the BVCC Prayer Shawl Ministry at 1 p.m. Oct. 17 to knit prayer shawls. Experience is not required.

BVCC hosts a presentation by the Benton County Sheriff's Office called Parents Night Out from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14 in the sanctuary. Discussion includes the dangers children face online and how to proactively protect them. Sign up in advance online only at bvcc.net.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., plans a presentation of Handel's Messiah at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 8 presented by the Celebration Choir and Orchestra. The choir is now practicing for this event and invites new members. Practice is on Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Trunk and Treat will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct.31. There will be inflatables, horseback rides, popcorn, hot chocolate and candy. In case of rain the event will be held indoors at the church.

GriefShare meets on Thursdays at 3 p.m. in the church library. If you have lost a loved one recently, this is a great support group for you.

Different Strokes for Different Folks meets at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 in the church library. This is a support group for those that have suffered a stroke or brain injury.

The Men's Bible study meets on Mondays at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Please park in the rear parking lot and enter the lower level.

The Bell Choir meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

The "Sonday Riders" will meet at 2 p.m. Oct. 20 and 27.

There will be a congregational meeting at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 27.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. They are in need of jelly and cereal. They are also collecting items for the holidays and request canned sweet potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, pure pumpkin, evaporated milk and canned cranberry sauce. A container for your donations is in the church narthex.

First Presbyterian Church in Rogers, 1901 S. 26th St., will host a homecoming celebration for current and former church members during worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with a lunch to follow hosted by the church deacons.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts the Oasis Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 23. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. The 5:30 p.m. dinner will be a grilling meal. Donations will be received to help cover the cost of meat, buns, etc. Everyone is welcome! Bring a generous side dish or dessert to share. It's "Team Spirit" night, so wear your team colors proudly. At 6:30 p.m., there will be singing, devotions and prayer in the Worship Center. Infant and toddler nursery for kids is offered as well, and the community is always warmly welcomed.
