Construction will temporarily close part of Center Street Monday just west of John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville.
The work includes the addition of a sidewalk along the south side of the street between Hartman Avenue and Graham Avenue, according to a news release. Crews will also add a new curb and gutter to the side of the road.
The section of Center between Hartman and Graham will be closed on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Extended hours and work during Saturdays may be necessary.
The street will be open to traffic during nights and weekends, according to the release.
