Two Rogers teachers next month will receive awards for excellence in economics and personal finance teaching.

Amy Mileham and Anna Badders, both teachers at Grace Hill Elementary School, are two of four Arkansas teachers chosen to receive the Bessie B. Moore Award for Excellence in Teaching Economics and Personal Finance, according to a news release Tuesday.

The awards luncheon hosted by the nonprofit group Economics Arkansas is set for Nov. 13 in Little Rock.

Amy Nicole Gordon of Barling Elementary School in Fort Smith and Valarie Harp of Hackett Elementary School in Hackett also will be honored at the luncheon.

Economics Arkansas began the awards in 1995 to honor teachers at independent and public schools in Arkansas, according to the release.
