TONTITOWN -- P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. on Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of $4.6 million.

The Tontitown-based company said it had profit of 79 cents per share.

The trucking company posted revenue of $129 million in the period.

P.A.M. Transportation shares have risen 73% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 17% in the last 12 months.

P.A.M, through its subsidiaries, runs truckload transportation and logistics services in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It hauls primarily vehicle parts, consumer goods and manufactured items.
