SILOAM SPRINGS -- Quarterback Garrett Brown threw two touchdown passes for Benton (2-3, 2-0 5A-West), which withstood a late rally against Siloam Springs (2-3, 1-1).
Brown put the Panthers on top in the first quarter with scoring tosses to Braden Murdock and Jaden Nash. Later in the quarter, Siloam Springs cut the lead to 14-7 on an 8-yard run by Taylor Pool.
A 4-yard touchdown run by Siloam Springs' Camden Collins cut the lead to 14-13 in the second quarter, but a 28-yard run by Casey Johnson put Benton up 21-13 at halftime.

Benton extended the lead in the fourth on an 11-yard run by D'Anthony Harper. Siloam Springs responded with a 12-yard interception return by Collins and a 1-yard run by Pool, but an attempt to tie the game with a two-point conversion failed.
