UPDATE -- Inaugural Mosaix Festival lineup includes comedian, TV personality Hasan Minhaj

UPDATE: Hasan Minhaj's performance at the Walton Arts Center has been rescheduled, according to a press release from the Walton Arts Center.

Minhaj new show is 7 p.m. Saturday, May 30.

All tickets to the April event will be honored at the May performance date. Current ticket holders who cannot attend on May 30 can contact the Walton Arts Center Box Office at 479-443-5600 for a refund, the release said.

This week, the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville officially announced the schedule and headline event for its inaugural Mosaix Festival, coming in April.

The new festival is a collaboration between WAC and community organizations and cultural influencers with the goal of elevating the intersection of arts and cultures (hence the "x") that make of the mosaic of Northwest Arkansas. Each year, a different culture will be highlighted with a week-long celebration of that culture's performers and performing arts. The inaugural Mosaix Festival April 20-25, 2020 explores the sights and sounds of India.

Tickets to many of the performances, plus additional Indian films, dance, music and drama presentations are on sale now. Tickets to the finale event with Hasan Minhaj go on sale to the public on National Diversity Day, Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m.
