Companies reporting quarterly earnings Thursday included:

Lexicon Pharmaceuticals Inc., the drugmaker, a profit of $226.1 million, or $1.95 a share, from a loss of $27.4 million, or 26 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $294.4 million. Shares rose 3 cents to close Thursday at $3.88.

MasterCraft Boat Holdings, the sport boats maker, a profit of $8.6 million, or 46 cents a share, from $8.5 million, or 45 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $109.8 million. Shares rose 95 cents to close at $17.46.

Natural Gas Services Group, the maker of natural gas compression equipment, a loss of $12.2 million, or 93 cents a share, from a profit of $236 million, or 2 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was $20.9 million. Shares fell 93 cents to close at $11.35.

Pacific Gas & Electric, a loss of $1.62 billion, or $3.06 a share, from a profit of $564 million, or $1.09 a share, a year ago. Revenue was $4.43 billion. Shares fell 90 cents to close at $6.02.
