STAR CITY -- Senior Elijah McDonald answered a Dragons charge in the fourth quarter with a late, 7-yard touchdown run to cement Star City's (6-3, 4-2 8-4A) victory over DeWitt (5-4, 2-4).
Star City senior Eli Edmonds ran for a 4-yard touchdown to put the Bulldogs up 49-28 with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Within six minutes, DeWitt senior quarterback Seth Courtney threw his third and fourth touchdown passes of the night, 8 yards to sophomore Dax Courtney and 25 yards to senior Johnta Wright to get the Dragons to within 49-44.

McDonald capped the Bulldogs' ensuing drive with his rushing touchdown with a minute left to put the Dragons away.
