Newspaper should not have
published photo of accused
On the front page of your May 9 edition, you printed an article about the Highlands Ranch STEM school shooting with the headline "Student called hero for service." Unbelievably, the picture you ran with that article was of one of the two accused in the shooting (whose name you also gave).
It's outrageous you would print a picture of a possible murderer at all, much less in lieu of a photo of the student who gave his life for his classmates.
Please pledge to no longer give mass shooters the attention they crave and to go out of your way to publicize the names of those who stand up to such violence.
