LET'S EAT: New restaurant coming to White Oak Station in Fayetteville

Penguin Point will soon open a new location in Fayetteville.

The restaurant is planning to open May 8 in the White Oak Station at 1940 North Crossover Rd, according to a news release.

The Fayetteville location will serve lunch and dinner at their dine-in lobby and drive-thru.

Penguin Point's signature menu items include its double-decker Big Wally burger, fresh fried chicken and crinkle cut fries.

The restaurant was established by the Stouder family in northern Indiana in 1950.

The family operated the chain for three generations before it was sold to the Dallas-based U.S. Assets Inc. in 2018.

U.S. Assets Inc. owns and operates White Oak Stations and truck plazas in several states including Arkansas.
