Ed McClure, artistic director for Arkansas Public Theatre in Rogers, says choosing a season is a lot like selecting stores for a mall: The musicals are the big, flashy anchor stores, and the rest are the boutiques that fill in in between.
The final contract signing for APT’s 34th season, announced at a gala March 1 at the Victory Theatre, was a little more stressful than most, with the 2020 summer musical selection changing right up to the wire.
