High water causes problems on Hwy 412 in Carroll County

UPDATE: A section of U.S. Highway 412 previously closed due to high water has reopened, according to a post from the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

EARLIER:

Thunderstorms moving through Northwest Arkansas closed a portion of Highway 412, according to a twitter post from the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

High water a debris in the road has closed both lanes of traffic just east of the highway's intersection with Arkansas 21.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, the National Weather Service said in a weather statement.

The Service issued a flash flood warning for Madison and Carroll counties until 5:45 p.m.
