Hollyn Elizabeth Hum Richard Tyler Smith

Hollyn Elizabeth Hum and Richard Tyler Smith exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in St. Edward Catholic Church. The Rev. Keith Higginbotham officiated.

Shanon and Jeff Hum of North Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Donna and Bobby Agee of North Little Rock, Jan and Charlie Baker of Hot Springs and Mary and Patrick Hum of North Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Jan and Rick Smith of North Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Louise and H.H. Jacoway of Little Rock and the late Dorothy and Vernon Smith of Jonesboro.

The church was decorated with arrangements of white peonies, white hydrangeas, white roses, silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus, freesia, white anemones, dusty miller and baby's breath. Music was by organist Phillip Quick.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace sheath with sweetheart neckline and scooped back. Her illusion veil was fingertip-length. She carried a bouquet of white peonies.

The bride's honor attendants were Corbin Foster of Fayetteville and Mackenzie Clyburn of Kansas City, Kan. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Lyle and Katherine Cianciola, both of Little Rock; Jessi Priebe, Sophie McGehee, Mary Picardi and Kadi James, all of Dallas; Erica Moore and Maddie Hum, cousin of the bride, both of Austin, Texas; and Chelsea Seelinger of Memphis, sister of the groom. They wore taupe georgette gowns and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girls were Palmer Seelinger, Greer Seelinger and Winnie Seelinger, all of Memphis and nieces of the groom. Ring bearer was Jackson Hum of Little Rock, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Amechi Echetebu of Memphis. Groomsmen were Chris Rosson of Beaufort, S.C.; Justin Harris, Charlie Cunningham and Michael Hemme, all of Little Rock; Raj Brahmbhatt of Benton; Gannon Van Allen of Philadelphia; Chase Foster of Fayetteville; Jacob Hum of Silicon Valley, Calif., and Hayden Hum, of North Little Rock, brothers of the bride; and Payton Seelinger of Memphis.

A reception was held at the Junior League of Little Rock. Guest tables covered in white table cloths held tall arrangements of peonies, roses and hydrangeas in shades of blush, ivory and taupe. Music was by the band Elite Coalition.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and a master's degree in education reading from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She is a second grade teacher at Our Lady of Holy Souls School.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in biology from UA and a doctor of dental surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center School of Dentistry. He is a dentist.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Oklahoma City, where the groom has an internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
