Country star Brad Paisley, pop's Train perform this week at Walmart AMP

Country singer Brad Paisley, with special guests Chris Lane and Riley Green, performs at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Walmart AMP, 5079 W. Northgate Road, Rogers. Gates open at 6. Tickets are $35-$89.50 plus fees.

Delta documentary

DELTA 60, an Arkansas Arts Center original documentary film exploring artwork featured in the 60th annual Delta Exhibition through the eyes of 10 Arkansas artists, premieres at the closing party for the 61st annual exhibition (actually closing June 30), 6 p.m. Friday at the Arts Center in MacArthur Park, East Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock.

The hourlong documentary, directed by Matthew Rowe, the Arts Center's digital media producer, co-produced with Angel Galloway, the Arts Center's director of marketing and communications, follows the artists — Melissa Cowper-Smith, Neal Harrington, Tammy Harrington, Robyn Horn, Tim Hursley, Lisa Krannichfeld, James Matthews, Dusty Mitchell, Aj Smith and Marjorie Williams-Smith — through the process of creating work "that addresses place, identity, representation and history," according to a news release.

A 7 p.m. post-screening reception will feature Little Rock musician Isaac Alexander performing music from the film. A pre-screening wine bar opens at 5:30. Tickets are $10, free for Arts Center members. Call (501) 372-4000 or visit arkansasartscenter.org/tickets.

Kinky on screen

The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots (music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, book by Harvey Fierstein, based on the screenplay by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth), filmed at London's Adelphi Theatre, will be on the big screen at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Breckenridge 12 and the Colonel Glenn 18 in Little Rock and 12:55 p.m. June 29 at the Breckenridge 12 in Little Rock and the Razorback Cinema in Fayetteville. The screenings will also include a behind-the-scenes look at the story of the musical and previously unseen footage from the Broadway run. Tickets are available online at FathomEvents.com.

Abbey Road tribute

Bluegrass Monday

Bluegrass band The Farm Hands — Keith Tew, guitar; Don Hill, banjo; Daryl Mosley, bass and vocals; and Tim Graves, dobro and vocals — will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at the Collins Theatre, 120 W. Emerson St., Paragould, part of Jonesboro public radio station KASU-FM, 91.9's Bluegrass Monday concert series. ASUMH season

"Croce Plays Croce" — singer-songwriter A.J. Croce performing songs by his father, Jim Croce; some of his own tunes; and songs that influenced them both — kicks off the 2019-20 Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Performing Arts Series, 7 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center, inside the Vada Sheid Community Development Center, ASUMH, 1600 S. College St., Mountain Home. Tickets are $20, $10 students.

The university's Arvest Concert Series kicks off at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 with 14-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emi Sunshine. Admission is free. And film and television producer Peter Giuliano offers a memoir of 40 weeks with director Francis Ford Coppola in "Peter Giuliano: Dracula,", 7 p.m. Oct. 29, part of the university's Gaston Lecture Series. Admission is free.
