A Northwest Arkansas nonprofit will receive a $5,000 grant from the Allstate Foundation.

Eleven Allstate owners and employees from Northwest Arkansas recently helped pack meals with The Pack Shack of Northwest Arkansas, according to a news release from the foundation.

The volunteers secured an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant for the Cave Springs-based organization.

Pack Shack NWA distributes meals to food relief organizations across the country, according to its website.

Four meals can be packed by the organization for every dollar of the $5,000 grant.

The nonprofit is one of thousands of organizations this year to benefit from the grants, which are reserved for nonprofits where Allstate professionals volunteer, according to the release.
