Starting today the Maple Avenue and Deaver Street intersection in Springdale will be closed, according to a press release from the city of Springdale.

The closure is a part of the Downtown Sewer Project, and the intersection is expected to be shut down for at least one month, according to the release.

During the construction eastbound right turns will be allowed for emergency vehicles only from Deaver Street to Maple Avenue.

The closure is due to boring operations across the intersections. Construction will also continue in the parking lot moving southwest towards the Maple Avenue and Deaver Street intersection.

For questions regarding the project contact Springdale Water Utilities.
