All Saints Episcopal Church in Bentonville, 2904 NW Third St., has begun a Wednesday service from 6 to 8 p.m. during the summer: Open Table. This casual service is a Eucharistic feast along the lines of the ancient church. Everyone is welcome to come, bringing a dish to share if you can.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts First Fruits Sunday July 7, collecting nonperishable food for local food pantries or specifying "First Fruits" on your check.

BVCC's Youth Group (seventh- through 12th-graders) meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Teens are invited at 6 p.m. July 10 for pizza and 6:30 p.m. for Bible study in the undercroft.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., welcomed 17 new members on June 1.

A number of the youth from the church will be attending the National Youth Gathering in Minneapolis July 9-16.

Those interested in the formation of a bell choir are invited to a meeting at 10:45 a.m. July 20.

Another of the monthly sessions for caregivers and those they serve, called Different Strokes for Different Folks, is scheduled for 2 p.m. July 23.

Griefshare Classes will again begin on Aug. 29. There will be an orientation "short" class on Aug. 22, and the group will meet at 3 p.m. each Thursday, completing the 13 weeks of study on Nov. 22. Participants will use a workbook and view a video each week. These sessions will be held in the church library. The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon and is in need of cereal. A container for donations is in the church narthex.

The Men's Bible study group meets every Monday at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Please park in the rear parking lot and enter the lower level.

Christian Women's Connection, meeting at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 Lancashire Blvd., will host featured speaker Jerry Varner, travel specialist, at 9 a.m. July 9. His feature will be "Making Memories." The guest speaker is Judy Hall Mefford on "Finding Your Balance."

The brunch is held the second Tuesday of each month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10. The program is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.

The Prayer Connection meets at 9 a.m. July 2 at St. Theodore's Church, 1001 Kingsland Road in Bella Vista.

Forest Hills Church in Bella Vista, an American Baptist congregation, 1702 Bella Vista Blvd., hosts First Sunday Singing in the Forest at 6 p.m. Sunday. The McCafferty Sisters and the band All In will be featured.

Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Beat the heat! PCBV's exercise group meets as usual during the summer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. All are welcome.

The Women's Book Club will not meet in July. The next meeting is at 10 a.m. Aug. 29. The theme is "a book you read this summer."

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., opens its Oasis Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon July 10. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. At 6:30 p.m., there will be singing, devotions and prayer for adults in the Worship Center. The community is always welcome, and a nursery for infants and toddlers is available. There will be no potluck fellowship dinner July 10 due to an All-Church Fellowship Luncheon following the worship service July 14.
