The third annual Mom and So Much More fashion show is set for July 19 at Osage House in Cave Springs. Organizers say that while there will be the latest fashions modeled on the catwalk, the emphasis will be on those sporting the attire. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Peace at Home Family Shelter in Fayetteville.
Event founder Chantel Shuler said the fashion show is “very much about women empowerment while supporting women in need.” She said the models are “inspirational and influential.” There will also be 25 children modeling.
“The more than 50 models that will be walking the runway have one specific thing in common: they are moms living right here in Northwest Arkansas. Other than that, the models highlight how diverse the lives and passions of mothers are. As they walk the runway, their accomplishments, strengths, inner beauty, ownerships, passions and individuality is shared over the microphone, with only a small nod to their actual outfits.”
Deanah Baker, senior vice president, Walmart Apparel, and Jessica Hendrix, chief executive officer, Saatchi & Saatchi X, are honorary event chairwomen.
The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, drinks, silent auction, photo booth and, of course, the fashion show. VIP tickets will come with early admission, swag bags and priority seating.
