The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport and the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank will provide food to federal employees impacted by the partial government shutdown.

A mobile pantry will be set up from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Airport just east of the main terminal, according to a press release from the Food Bank.

Federal employees who bring their government issued identification can receive the free food.

“As the government shutdown enters its fifth week, we felt it was our duty to decide on how we could help our local federal employees who are going without pay,” Kent Eikenberry, president and CEO of the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, said in the release.
