Work on a $79.2 million project to widen U.S. 67/167 between Jacksonville and Cabot will require a lane closure for parts of today and Thursday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
The outside lane of northbound U.S. 67/167 will be closed between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11), reducing traffic to one lane, from 8 p.m. today to 1 p.m. Thursday, weather permitting.
The closure will permit crews to construct foundations for roadside signs. Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signs.
Depending on inclement weather, the closure may be rescheduled for later in the week, the department said.
