TUESDAY'S BOYS

CHARLESTON 76, WALDRON 55 Brayden Ross scored 31 points to lead Charleston to a 3A-1 West victory over host Waldron. Jacob Green had 14 points and Blaine Rowland added 10. Peyton Brown scored 42 points in the loss for Waldron.

ENGLAND 64, MAGNET COVE 33 Tamarous Dodson led the Lions (14-4, 7-0) with 20 points in a 2A-5 South victory over the Panthers. Kevante Davis added 19 for England, which led 33-20 at the half.

LR CHRISTIAN 63, GREENBRIER 52 Juwuan Clifton's game-high 19 points wasn't enough as visiting Greenbrier took a 5A-West loss to Little Rock Christian. Luke Grawer led the Warriors with 17 points, while William Wood, Cortez Finley and Colin Cooper added 10 points each.

WEST MEMPHIS 79, SEARCY 59 Chris Moore scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead West Memphis to a 5A-East victory in Searcy. Cain Paige added 11 points and 12 assists for West Memphis (13-3, 1-1) and Terry Burgess had 11 points. Freddie Hicks scored 23 points to lead Searcy (8-7, 1-1), while Peyton Caldwell had 15.

TUESDAY'S GIRLS

BATESVILLE 73, SOUTHSIDE BATESVILLE 43 Taylor Griffin and Reese Gardner scored 23 points each as Batesville reamined unbeaten in 4A-3 play with a victory at Southside Batesville. Izzy Higginbottom added 18 points for the Pioneers (15-2, 6-0). Rylie Freeman led Southside Batesville (3-14, 2-4) with 14 points and Olivia Allen scored 12.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS CHRISTIAN 58, BAPTIST PREP 38 Bethany Dillard and Ava Knoedl each scored 21 points as the Lady Mustangs (10-7, 5-0) defeated the Lady Eagles (7-10, 2-3) in 3A-5 Conference play. CAC led 27-16 at the half. Katie Vaden led Baptist Prep with 11 points.

ENGLAND 75, MAGNET COVE 48 Leading by four at halftime, England outscored visiting Magnet Cove 21-5 in the third quarter of a 2A-6 game. Tatayana Penister led England with 24 points, while Tybriana Durham scored 16 and Antanequia Martin chipped in with 10. Karen Davis had 16 points to lead Magnet Cove.

FORT SMITH NORTHSIDE 58, LITTLE ROCK CENTRAL 37 Sophomore Jersey Wolfenbarger scored 13 of her team-high 15 points in the first half as the top-ranked Lady Bears (14-0, 2-0) rolled to a victory over the Lady Tigers (5-8, 0-2) in a 6A-Central game in Little Rock. Northside led 29-13 at the half, holding the Lady Tigers to three points in the second quarter. Tiya Douglas added 11 points for Northside. Lauryn Pendleton paced Central with 18 points and six rebounds. Ariyanna Hall scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half for Central.

SYLVAN HILLS 64, LR PARKVIEW 48 Senior guard Andrea Dolphin finished with 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals as Sylvan Hills pulled away to win for the fifth time in its past six games. Senior forward Sadie Carrell had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals while senior guard Olivia Wilkins ended with 10 points for the Lady Bears, who scored 14 of the first 16 points of the fourth quarter to turn a 43-36 lead into a 19-point bulge. Sylvan Hills (8-4, 1-0 5A-Central) committed 23 turnovers but helped itself by shooting 56 percent (23 of 41) for the game. Junior forward Jordyn Williams had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 steals for Little Rock Parkview (1-8, 0-1), which committed 19 of its 29 turnovers in the first half. Senior guard Kaylan Larry had 10 points.

VILONIA 58, BEEBE 37 Lauren Patterson scored 15 points as host Vilonia (13-1, 2-0) defeated Beebe (6-9, 0-2) in a 5A-West game. Paige Kelly added 14 points for Vilonia.

WATSON CHAPEL 50, LR HALL 22 Taylor Whitted scored 16 points and Ky'ana Ginger had 12 to lead Watson Chapel (6-8, 1-0 5A Central) to a victory at Hall. The Lady Wildcats dominated from the start, leading 8-2 after one quarter, 25-11 at the half and 41-15 after three periods. Kendra Pride and Tyianna Robinson scored 8 points each to lead Hall (1-10, 0-1).

WEST MEMPHIS 62, SEARCY 39 Visiting West Memphis outscored Searcy 33-23 in the first half and 29-16 in the second half of a 5A-East game. Aryah Hazley led West Memphis (8-4, 1-1) with 17 points, Ta'Nya Burnett had 16 and Tiera Bradley added 13. Whitney Davis scored 12 points to lead Searcy (4-11, 0-2) and Alexa Broadway chipped in with 10.
