Where I live: Lakewood, in a '60s ranch-style house that my husband, Collin, and I painted mint green and coral because I like The Golden Girls way too much.

Occupation: Jewelry designer, freelance writer and editor. You may have seen Bang-Up Betty brand jewelry and apparel in Little Rock boutiques like Moxy Modern Mercantile and Domestic Domestic. I hand-stamp it all in my sunny little home studio while I listen to audio books about the scandals of 17th-century royals.

My favorite space: My home studio.

Why? When Bang-Up Betty started getting bigger, I needed more space, and it led to my husband and me buying our first house just a few blocks from where I grew up. The Bang-Up Betty studio is my happy place. On a sunny day, the coral-colored walls just seem to glow. I filled the windowsills with plants, and when I'm not loudly hammering metal, my cats Betty and Pearl take turns sitting by my feet waiting for me to pet them. I keep the studio very neat and organized so it's never a stressful place to be, and it's dotted with little trinkets from our travels: a coin from South Korea, a statue of Hephaestus from Greece, seashells from Bali, and other little things that make me smile.
