BENTONVILLE -- Benton County will close Punkin Hollow Road at the intersection of McMillian Road starting Monday to install a culvert, according to a county news release.
The closure is expected to last through March 1. The county has placed flashing billboard signs at the intersection and detour signs will be posted Friday, the release says.
Alternate routes are:
• From the intersection of Short Road and Punkin Hollow, go north on Punkin Hollow Road to Miller Church Road, which becomes Prescot Road, then turn east and proceed onto East Elvendon Drive. Turn east onto Cedar Crest Drive, which becomes Suits Us Drive, and proceed to U.S. 71, the release stated.
• From the intersection of Punkin Hollow and Peach Orchard Road, go south on Peach Orchard Road to Northwest Third Street. Turn west on Northwest Third Street, then go south on Northwest Elm Tree Road to Arkansas 72, the release stated.
• From the intersection of Punkin Hollow and Short Road, go south on Short Road to Arkansas 72, the release stated.
