Allegiant Air is adding tourism destinations from Arkansas' two biggest airports.

The Las Vegas-based budget carrier announced Tuesday that it will offer two flights weekly between Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport/Adams Field and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport in the Florida panhandle, beginning May 17.

The airline will begin service between Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport at Highfill and Nashville International Airport in Tennessee, also with two flights a week, starting June 6.

Both are seasonal flights, which are geared toward the leisure market and won't necessarily be year-round. Introductory fares that Allegiant is offering for both destinations through its website, allegiant.com, are good for flights booked through Aug. 19.

The Destin-Fort Walton service will be the third destination Allegiant offers from Clinton National, where the airline carried 35,000 passengers in 2018. The airline will have five destinations from Northwest Arkansas Regional when the Nashville service is added.
