Cross Church in Fayetteville, 2801 W McMillan Drive, will host a six-week class for married or engaged couples beginning at 5:30 p.m. March 3. The program, "The Art of Marriage," will include discussions on God's design for marriage, overcoming isolation, communication, conflict, intimacy and leaving a legacy.

St. James United Methodist Church in Fayettevillle, 5 N. Willow Ave., will celebrate Black History Month by holding its annual Soul Food Dinner from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. The dinner will be served in the church basement at a cost of $7 a plate. All friends, family, church members, and interested townspeople are invited to attend.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts a women's Bible study, a seven-week series titled "Hebrews: The Nearness of King Jesus" by Lisa Harper, beginning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 21 in Room 8/9. Cost is $15. Call the church office to sign up.
The church is also launching the first Royal Family Kids Camp for kids in Northwest Arkansas. This one-week Christian camp for children ages 7 to 11 who are in foster care is run entirely by volunteers and funded by donations. Information: Visit 390.rfk.org.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts the Shepherd's Food Pantry every Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and is in need of peanut butter, jelly, sugar-free Jell-O and healthy cereals. Organizers are also collecting "Best Choice" PVC labels so that they can purchase items for neighbors with special needs. A container for donations is in the church narthex.
The Men's Bible Study meets on Mondays at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Please park in the rear parking lot and enter the lower level.
There's a new Women's Bible Study group that will meet on Tuesdays at 6:15 p.m. at the home of Camilla Hass, 6 Hallock Drive.
At 4 p.m. Feb. 24, Bella Vista Lutheran Church will install the church's associate pastor, the Rev. Christopher Gorsche. A reception will follow the service. All are welcome.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts the next Women's Book Club at 10 a.m. Feb. 28 in the church parlor. The theme for February is "A Book with a Person's Name in the Title." All women in the community are invited.
PCBV's exercise class meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 a.m. for stretching and low-impact exercise using a chair or a mat. Afterward, several people take a walk around the parking lot perimeter. All area residents are welcome.
The Men's Fellowship would like to thank everyone who participated in the blood drive on Jan. 14. Nineteen people stopped by, and 16 of those were able to give blood.

Bible Study: Lunchtime Edition, at noon Feb. 13 and 27, will focus on the Didache, sometimes called the most important book you've never heard of. The Didache means "The Teaching" and refers to the teaching of the Twelve Apostles to the early church. Long considered part of the New Testament, it was lost for centuries until 1873, when a Greek manuscript was rediscovered. This event is free, and all are welcome.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts a Ladies Bible Study Tuesdays at 9 a.m. at the church. The current study is on the Old Testament prophet Micah, and women from the community are always welcome to attend. At 7 p.m., a Men's Bible Study will meet in the Oasis Center, studying the book of Revelation, taught by Don Rogan. The White Cross Women's Mission ministry and the ladies' KniTTogether ministry will also meet at 7 p.m. The community is welcome to come and learn more about these ministries.
On Feb. 13, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries.
