Economic Opportunity Agency

Kum & Go has awarded $10,000 in funding to the Economic Opportunity Agency Children's Services program.

EOA is a community action agency with the mission of "empowering children and families to learn, connect and succeed." Enriching the Northwest Arkansas community since 1965, EOA's primary programs provide services to young children and families living in poverty. By administering programs designed to address the roots of poverty through a strategic two generation approach, EOA connects low-income families with the tools to achieve financial stability and break the cycle of poverty.

EOA Children's House, a program of EOA, provides high-quality early childhood education and targeted services to low-income children ages 6-weeks-old to 5- years-old, living at or below the federal poverty level. EOA Children's House also provides specialized services for children that have been abused, neglected or have faced adverse childhood experiences.

Kum & Go "believes that all children deserve a safe and accessible, high-quality early childhood education." The funding provided by Kum & Go will provide support for the safe, accessible, high-quality early childhood education program provided for children at EOA Children's House.
