Boys

Clovis (Calif.) East 64, Bentonville High 56

Clovis East outscored Bentonville 35-27 in the second half and defeated the Tigers during Friday's semifinal round of the KSA Events Classic basketball tournament in Orlando, Fla.

Colton Simmons had 13 points to lead four players in double figures for Bentonville (5-3), which was tied at 29-all at halftime but trailed 42-38 after three quarters. Abel Hutchinson was next with 12, while Hayden Shanks and Thane Spencer chipped in 10 apiece.

The Tigers close out tournament play today with a third-place game against Copper Hills, Utah.

Rogers High 53, Lake Hamilton 52

Drew Miller hit a 12-foot jumper in the waning seconds to help the Mounties claim the one-point nonconference win on the road and remain undefeated.

Rogers (8-0) got the ball with 12 seconds left trailing by one and got the ball to Miller, who hit the game-winner and finished with a team-high 15 points despite foul trouble.

Derek Hobbs and Collin Chrisman chipped in 11 points each and Will Liddell added 10 for the Mounties, who led 26-20 at halftime.

Rogers Heritage 73, Springfield (Mo.) Glendale 45

The War Eagles improved their record to 6-2, jumping to a 23-10 lead after a quarter and never looking back in their nonconference win.

Logan Clines led four Heritage players in double figures with 16 points. Jason Kimball and Micah Hill added 14 each and Logan Glenn chipped in 13. Kimball his four of Heritage's 10 3-pointers in the game.

Carter Harrell led Glendale (4-3) with a game-high 16 points. Kafer Lowry added 12.

Life Way Christian 75, Thaden School 30

Ant Potter had 22 points to lead three Life Way Christian players in double figures as the Warriors rolled past Thaden School.

Luke Melton added 15 and Preston Green 14 for Life Way, which outscored Thaden School 19-3 in the third quarter and stretched a 34-22 halftime lead into a 53-24 cushion.

The Warriors return to action Dec. 28 at Yellville-Summit.

Springdale Har-Ber 60, Sylvan Hills 41

The Wildcats rolled to a nonconference win Friday in the Conway Classic.

Lawson Jenkins scored a game-high 23 points for Har-Ber (7-2) and JuJuan Boyd scored 21.

Girls

Greenwood 82, Jacksonville 59

Kinley Fisher led three Lady Bulldogs in double-figures with a game-high 24 points as Greenwood rolled to the nonconference win.

Fisher scored 15 first-half points to help Greenwood to a 45-28 lead and the Lady Bulldogs (7-2) cruised from there.

Ally Sockey and Jaelin Glass chipped in 13 points each, while Madison Cartwright added 11. Sockey added four assists, three steals and three rebounds, while Shea Goodwin dished out a team-high five assists.

Berryville 57, Huntsville 34

Jordan Estepp scored a game-high 26 points as the Lady Bobcats opened 4A-1 Conference play with a big win.

Lilli Compton scored 12 points for Berryville (9-2, 1-0) and Lexi Anderson finished with 10.

Josie Sisk scored 17 points for Huntsville.
